Rabbit Sanctuary

A sanctuary resident enjoys a snack in the shade.

In 1978, Caroline Gilbert devoted her 30-acre farm in Simpsonville, South Carolina to The Fund for Animals and established a sanctuary specifically for domestic rabbits.

The sactuary's unique "Home for Life" policy ensures a permanent home for approximately 100 rabbits, all fugitives from local shelters, commercial breeders, laboratories, and unfit homes, plus a few strays. They have arrived from all over the United States. By sponsoring one of these rabbits, you will help to continue this vital work.
